  • 225hp No power to remote throttle/ start or gauges.

    Hi,

After changing my battery setup I cant start my engine, my gauges are not working neither. Cant figure out why this happened.

Anyone that has experience with this?

This might point you in the right direction, if not still worth a read.

Sounds very much like white wire not reconnected correctly or wire is damaged. See the sticky that Murray linked.

        Thank you!
Where will I find this White wire, on the engine end or by the controls?

Most commonly it is connected to the main battery switch + for the start battery, or direct to the start battery itself. Should have a fuse in the line, look for a medium sized blade fuse holder.

The white wire provides power to the ecu. No power to ecu = engine dead, no worky

            Thank you!
I found the white wire. Followed it from the engine and could trace it to the end. Im so happy right now.
Thanks once again. I hope I can help somebody in the future.

                The white wire was disconnected.

Glad you found it and reconnected.
