dt50 throttle sticking

I have a problem with my DT 50, the throttle jams at 3000 rpm, I had a look at the linkages on the throttle and the clutch. Motor goes into gear as the throttle lever goes past the clutch linkage it catches the nut on the back of the clutch linkage causing it to jam. I have noticed where the throttle/clutch go onto a spindle there is a bit of play not sure if that is normal, the bolt on the spindle is tight cant seem to take up any play or is this normal.

Let's get back to basic info. It helps some what if we can look up your motor (model & year) to see what parts you have for the throttle. Because on this side of the screen, I can't tell if you're using remote controls or not?

Generally if something is loose, and doesn't tighten, it might mean something is worn, or missing?
