  • Suzuki DF175 operating Temps

    It's a 2016 DF175.

If you have a late model DF175 hooked to a digital display or the digital gauges, what are you seeing for engine temp at cruise speed and WOT temps?

    Thx guys.

I am in Alaska, Yesterday in 36*(F) water at 650 rpm temp was 168*F, at WOT 6200 RPM it was 174*F I rarely see 50*F water surface temps in my area so I installed the higher temp stat. With the standard stat it never ran above 140*F or so. DF-175, 2011 w/2255 hrs Far better economy, oil stays clean longer & better performance.

My DF115 runs at between 70-75 C pretty well all the time. At the higher end of that range at higher rpm’s.

Water temps here are 19-27 C typical.

Its coming into “winter” here now, the water temp in the Bay was around 22.4 C on Thursday just gone.

My '07 DF150 usually runs in the neighborhood of 140-150° in the warm Texas gulf coast waters (gulf water temps around 80°)

It was running mid 130's at idle and cruising speeds. 130-138 was the actual range for an hour of on/off plane. WOT 6k rpms trimmed up for a minute or so read 148.
