Hi there,

Today I was cruising and all sudden the engine lost power , like was no enough fuel. At low rev was working until 2500 rpm and then start to struggle again. If I shut down the engine and then turn on/ off the key (without start the engine) I can hear the LP pump work. Also after this operation I can use the engine at full speed for something like 3 min without issues, after t that the problem come back. At low the engine runs smooth.

What I think that is the LP pump cannot fill the VST fast enough.

What are your thoughts?

Sounds plausible, could be the VST float is not letting enough fuel at higher RPMs. Could also be fuel filter plugged, water in fuel, old stale fuel, possible air getting sucked into the fuel line on the suction side of the low pressure fuel pump.(loose clamps and air bubbles in the filter), fuel tank not venting properly. I’d suggest you start at the tank and check your entire fuel line for anything that looks fishy, if you find nothing easy then dive deeper into the fuel system.
