    Mate this is the last post on this one, the ecu want's to see 2.5 volts on pin 20 in neutral, if it does not see it, the shift actuator may be moving the rod just a bit further, moving it away from neutral when it is 2.5 volts. I don't know if there has been some damage to the actuator l suppose it has moved further than it's normal limits, you don't need a test cord, that is for checking the wiring harness, if you haven't changed the ecu or bcm nothing should need programing.

    Disconnect the wiring plug to the shift actuator, shift the gear box to neutral, turn the key on and set the shift sensor to 2.5 volts, neutral, forward 3.7 reverse 1.3 volts
