Sourcing DT85 key

Hi guys,

I'm trying to source a set of keys for a Suzuki DT85 outboard, see photo.

The keys I have are round plastic shaped like a bottle cap only, with no metal blade (like house or car keys have).

I've tried Amazon with no luck (altho new to Amazon so may have missed it if there) and local Suzuki marine are getting back to me.

As the motor is 1992 model, should I be considering these keys obsolete and hard/impossible to get hold of??

Greatly appreciated if anyone can point me in the right direction!

You should add a pic of the other side of key? We might get a better idea of what you have? My '94 Suzuki keys look just like yours on the back side, but they do have the blade section.

If you can't find the same style keys, you'll probably have to change the entire switch assy out, in order to get replacement keys that work.

You might have to remove your switch assy, take it to your local Suzuki dealer, just to match it up. Number of Wires and plug connectors should all match up, and make sure wire colors match close enough to swap it out without to many problems.
