  • Suzuki 200AP Oil Filter Wrench

Is there a part number or can someone recommend a oil filter wrench to fit the filter for removal?

I use the same wrench on my DF 90 that I use on my wife's Murano. Any Automotive supplier should have a selection of sizes and styles.

I know for most mechanics this may not be the recommended way, but you know what - it works...
punch a small hole in the bottom and let the oil drain out
then I have taken a philips head screw driver and pushed it through the filter
give it a tap and loosen it up

all you need is a quarter turn or less and it will back off by hand

Punching a small hole in the bottom is a good idea. I do this on every filter, even if upright. Especially on my mack. Each filter holds 1/2 gal. makes them heavy especially when hot.
