  • Water in Lower unit 2019 350

I have a set of 2019 350’s, about 400 hours on them. I dropped the leg oil
the other day and completely white. Was told by a local dealer that Suzuki came out with a bulletin for 2018 saying that it can be fixed with silicone after pulling seals

Can anyone confirm this or do I need to do a full seal kit on lower end?

    Thanks in advance

Is this something covered by warranty? Are both motors having the same problem (water in gear oil)? Generally thought if Suzuki had a bulletin out on a problem, then usually it was covered? Are your motors still under warranty (3 yr or 5 yr?)?

    Good luck.

Ask to see a copy of the service bulletin.

This was a known issue with the earlier 350’s and I gathered that Suzuki provides an updated seal kit to solve the problems. So the costs should be covered - talk with your dealer to verify and if no satisfaction, go up the line to Suzuki.

Thanks fellas, I’m looking into this at the moment, should be under warranty as they are 3 years old. Purchased the boat last February and making sure that warranty was transferred

        Cheers
