  • DT150 super six

I have obtained two dt150 super sixes, one has just been rebuilt and has oiling system disabled. The other has piston damage and has complete oiler system, I would like to remove oiling system from the bad engine and reinstall it on good engine rather than premix. Any thoughts or assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Take pics how everything comes apart, make sure it all goes together just like it came apart. Make sure all the check- valves in the oil lines are going the right direction. Purge the oil pump per the manual.

Once you're sure everything is right, then run pre-mix while checking oil usage/level in tank. Check plugs frequently too, as some cylinders may take longer to get oil from tank. Then you can start adding straight gas to the pre-mix tank, all the oil/smoke should start clearing up the more fresh gas you add.

Keep checking oil level in tank, and plugs to see how each cylinder is doing.

    Good luck.
