  • SMG4 Not Reading Fuel Level Senders

I am having trouble getting my SMG4 gauges to read my fuel level senders.
I have twin DF200AP and twin 120G tanks with WEMA fuel sending units. These gauges have worked in the past but I recently had to do some work on the console and had to remove the Suzuki harness from the boat. All other functions seem to work fine with the gauges and motors after reinstall.
I checked to the sending units with a multimeter and got the standard 33 and 240 ohms at full and empty. I checked to make sure I got that reading at the sender head and at the end of the wire before the Suzuki harness.
I have been into the initial set and reset the tanks and recalibrated them, both with the US 33-240ohm and with the custom setting. On the custom setting I can set the empty level but, when I confirm the ¼ full level I get a “calibration error” notice and cant go further.
Is this something I am doing wrong in the settings? Is there an inline fuse in the harness I should check? Am I not setting up the gauge correctly?
    Any help is appreciated.
