I'm trying to figure out the hours on my motors. When I turn the ignition to the on position I get a reading of 1100 rpm and two rev limit flashes on my port engine. And 1200 rpm with two flashes on my starboard engine. My service manual doesn't show a rpm reading for 1100 or 1200 rpm.. Any ideas ?? Thanks in advance.

Thank you for the responses. I finally believe i got it figured out. Correct me if I'm mistaken, but it seems close to what my calculated hours guess was before starting.
1100 rpm on tac equals 110 hours. Each rev limit flash equals 500 hours. I have two rev limit flashes to go with my 1100 rpm for a grand total of 1110 hours.Comment
