2008 df115--engine runs great when in gear but alarm will sound and then shut down engine while in idle happens fairly quickly about one minute after putting it in idle sometimes faster. Just had new impellar put in at beginning of season. Engin always starts right back up with no problem.

Are you getting an alarm, and fault codes? If so, what are they?
Does the engine idle at normal speeds when it is running?
Have you had the engine to a Suzuki dealer to have the ECU codes checked?
And, have you checked the engine holder corrosion issue?Comment

Darius, have the codes read, could possibly be dirty IAC.
Kiwiflya, your problem may be similar, but each motor is different, and it confuses issues when trying to listen and understand what is going on with one motor. Your motor issue is also important, please start your own thread, so that we can listen to what your motor is doing, to focus, and help solve your problems too.

This is a very old thread that's been dredged up by Kiwifla.
